Moosabec Mussels™ receiving and processing plant is inspected and approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is approved to export shellfish to the European Union.

Plant operations and sanitation is approved by the Maine Department of Marine Resources (DMR).

The plant operation is eco-friendly and has all the necessary permits for wastewater discharge from the Maine Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).  Moosabec Mussels™ complies with all applicable environmental regulations.
